Student Activities
The maritime programme at LJMMA is rigorous. However, there are opportunities for students to engage in on campus friendly competition and off campus visits to ports and ships, as well as, by invitation, to participate in maritime related functions.
Student Regiment
Students follow a regimented discipline program at the Academy. They wear uniforms, participate in parades and physical fitness activities, and follow a regimented code of conduct.
Berthing
Each cadet is required to complete a 12-months berth during the third year of their programs. The Academy collaborates with shipping partners to ensure that cadets can complete this requirement in a timely fashion.
